Lititz Springs Park: In the new ‘Boy Scout’ Pavilion (Where the old log cabin used to be above the head end)
What
to bring: You , wife/husband, significant other. As for food, you may
bring: Nothing; a cold salad, fruits, cold veggies and maybe a dip,
desserts, or whatever suits your fancy (and others might enjoy)- use
your imagination.
Provided by Class of '65: Hamburgers, hot dogs, all of
the accoutrements, macaroni salad, soda, Moravian Sugar Cake.
If
the weather is conducive, Dr. Dave Newcomer (a.k.a. Squeak, Dr. Dave)
will join us from the air as he plans to jump out of a chopper from
3500 feet. Note that he does plan to be outfitted with a
parachute. Just look for the guy in the yellow jump suit way up
in the air.
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited by rule of the Lititz Park Commission.
Golf 7 AM
Peggy
Bard Rooney is organizing a golf outing at Foxchase Golf Club in
Stevens, PA. She plans to request four (4) tee times around 7:00
– 7:30 a.m. the same morning as our picnic. Please contact Peggy

The
game against Solanco ended in a zero-zero tie. We had the ball on
Solanco’s three yard line on fourth down. I called a pass play, and
overthrew Willie (a.k.a. ‘Lillie’) Landis at the back of the end zone.
The team ended the season with two wins (Conestoga Valley, Elizabethtown), seven losses, and one tie (Solanco).
